Mode of Action:
-Azoxystrobin inhibits mitochondrial respiration in fungi by binding to the
cytochrome bc1 complex, disrupting energy production.
-Chlorothalonil reacts with thiol groups in fungal enzymes, interfering with
metabolic processes.
-The combination provides both preventive and curative action with good
translocation within the plant.
Benefits:
-Broad-spectrum control of multiple fungal diseases.
-Long-lasting protection with residual activity.
-Suitable for integrated pest management programs.
-Low phytotoxicity to most crops when used as directed.
Precautions:
-PPE: Chemical-resistant gloves, respirator, goggles.
-Do not apply in windy conditions or when rain is expected within 24 hours.
-Do not mix with highly alkaline or acidic substances.
-Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at 0°C to 35°C.
Environmental Hazards:
-Toxic to aquatic organisms, avoid contamination of water bodies.
-Low toxicity to birds and mammals.
-Biodegradable in soil with a half-life of 7-21 days.
