Mode of Action:
-Copper oxychloride releases copper ions that act on the cell membranes of fungi,
disrupting their cellular functions.
-Mancozeb acts as a multi-site contact fungicide, interfering with fungal
respiration and enzyme systems.
-They work together to provide both protective and curative action.
Benefits:
-Broad-spectrum control of multiple fungal diseases.
-Suitable for use in integrated pest management programs.
-Relatively low resistance potential due to multi-site action.
-Can be used in organic farming when compliant with relevant regulations.
Precautions:
-PPE: Wear protective clothing, chemical-resistant gloves, and goggles.
-Do not apply in hot and dry weather conditions.
-Do not mix with alkaline Pesticide.
-Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Environmental Hazards:
-Toxic to aquatic organisms, avoid runoff into water bodies.
-May have some impact on soil microorganisms, use in moderation.
-Low toxicity to birds and mammals when used as directed.
